GT Spoke started as a praise and worship group in a rural United Methodist Church in Southwest Missouri. From a variety of different religious backgrounds and musical influences, the group came together and soon discovered they had a very interesting sound. After a few years the Prairie Chapel Praise Band took the name of GT Spoke “God truly spoke” and started performing outside the church walls. Eventually, the group released its first album “In the Middle” with a simple mission of connecting GOD and PEOPLE through their gift of music. Since the early years of GT Spoke, the band’s writing, sound and performances have undergone some interesting changes but the mission has stayed the same. Three albums later and now seasoned musicians, GT Spoke brings their unique sound to venues both large and small. Coupled with a spirit filled message that emphasizes the power of God’s love, GT Spoke’s music reaches deep into the hearts of all who listen. The ministry work of GT Spoke accomplishes the mission of the group on many levels. Organizing and participating in fund raising for not for profit groups is the way GT Spoke connects with and supports people in need. The band ministers to churches through revivals, worship services, concerts, youth events, and even seminars on worship and evangelism. God’s word is taken out into the world as GT Spoke enters the prison systems, intervention rallies, bike rallies, fairs and festivals. Connecting PEOPLE and GOD is a simple mission that can be accomplished in so many ways. God’s grace is abundant for everyone; GT Spoke follows the example of Jesus Christ and the apostles in spreading the good news to as many PEOPLE as possible. This approach to ministry has taken GT Spoke to some very interesting places and presented the group with many challenging situations. God has a way of empowering and preparing those who serve Him. Due to the charitable work that GT Spoke is involved in, the group has acquired a 501c3 not for profit status. If you, your company or organization would like be a supporter of the GT Spoke ministry, there are a few different ways you can do so. You may donate through our Pay-Pal account or set up a weekly, monthly or annual giving program with us and we will provide you with a tax deductible receipt for your records. All donations go directly to support and further the ministry. No band members, technicians, or managers are paid; all work is done on a volunteer basis. There are many expenses with a ministry of this nature and size. We simply need your support to continue the charitable work we do.
